4.4.1.3 Specimen. A specimen is a single piece of finished cable or any part removed from the
finished cable such as conductors, separators, insulated conductors, shielded conductors, or cabled and
shielded conductors, insulations, and jacket, which is taken from a sample unit and subjected to
inspection.
4.4.2 Sampling. A random sample shall be selected from each lot in accordance with table V.
