Dimensions and configuration. See figure 1.
Conductor size. All conductors shall be size 20. See "Construction requirements for conductors"
as specified in MIL-DTL-13486.
Longitudinal shifting. This requirement of MIL-DTL-13486 shall not apply.
Shielding. All shielding shall be electrically connected.
Shielding internal. Internal shielding shall consist of a closely and uniformly woven wire braid
applied directly over the insulated conductors by means of a multiple carrier braider. Each carrier
shall have no less than four strands of .005-inch diameter tinned copper wire. The shielding shall
provide no less than 85% coverage.
Shielding outer. Outer shielding (see figure 1) shall consist of a closely and uniformly woven wire
braid woven by means of a multiple carrier braider. Each carrier shall have no less than eight
strands of .0063-inch diameter tinned copper wire. The shielding shall provide no less than 85%
coverage.
