5.3 When more than one specimen is tested, the number of carriers in the braid, the number of ends per
carrier, and the number of plies in the yarn of the inspection unit shall be the average of the results
obtained from the specimens tested.
5.4 The number of carriers per braid, ends per carrier, and plies per yarn of the inspection unit shall be
recorded to the nearest whole number.
